Adewale Akinyelu was born on August 22, 1979 into the royal family of Itunaga Awa Ijebu in Ijebu North Local Government.

Wale was raised in Lagos and had his primary education at Oduduwa Primary School, Gbagada, Lagos before proceeding to the National College Gbagada for his secondary education.

Professionally, Wale runs his own farm, WaleOla Farms Limited where he holds the position of CEO.

He is Married to Olori Olasunkanmi Akinyelu and the have five children.
